I have no experience using MS Word. I prefer to use Google Docs for a couple of reasons. It auto-saves, it is easy to access on different devices, and you can share your work with anyone.  The concept of digital natives is interesting, and I agree that there is a difference in digital natives and immigrants. Being a digital native means you grew up on the internet (also known as "chronically online" to some people). There is definetly a difference between how digital natives and immigrants use the internet, such as what services they use, and how they use them. Throughout my learning experience, I have used technology, however college has exposed me to lots of different ways it can be used such as Canvas, Canva, and Padlet. I have no idea what the future holds for students. It seems like technology is progressing so rapidly and I am not sure how the education system will keep up. I guess we will see!  Hey everyone! My name is Paige and I'm a first year student here at FSU. This semester I transferred from TCC and I'm majoring in special education! I love to read and do yoga on Landis Green.  My experiences with technology in an educational setting are pretty limited. My high school used Google Classroom instead of Canvas, so I'm still learning the ropes. I've used Blogger previously for my photography class as a place for my portfolio. Other than that, I'm excited to learn more!  Next is my personal learning network (PLN). I love learning about my major from teachers online and hearing their stories. Not only that, but talking to my old teachers. I also love connecting with people in my major and learning from them, so if anyone reading this is also majoring in special ed, please reach out!
